• The EOS D60 digital camera is a high-performance, single-lens reflex AF camera with an ultra-fine CMOS sensor having approx. 6.3 million effective pixels. The camera is compatible with all Canon EF lenses and designed for quick and easy shooting. It is full-featured for all types of photograohy, from fully automatic to professional-level, creative work.
  • The D60 can be controled from my iBook. I can take single-frame shots, timer shots and interval timer shots. The images are automatically saved on my HD. Shots taken with RemoteCapture and saved to my HD can be displayed and image-processed in the Plug-In Module in the same way as images shot with the camera.
  • The D60 digital camera supports Exif 2.2 (also called "Exif Print"). Exif Print is a standard for enhancing the communication between digital cameras and printers. When the D60 is connected to an Exif-compliant printer, the camera's image data at the timie of shooting is used and optimized, yeilding extremely high quality prints.
  • The main reason I got the D60 is that h=this camera has been designed so that taking pictures is given prority over other operations. Unless the internal memory is full, you will always be able to take pictures immeadiately by releasing the shutter. Regardless of the camera status (playback, menu seletion or image recording in progress, et.), you can return to shooting mode immediately by pressing the shutter button don halfway.

Planning is afoot to utilize the D60's digital imaging. Focus will be upon jobs were immediacy is appropriate.
