Today I dropped off my check for the remaining amount to Unruh's. Now I just have to wait, oh the agony... With my deposit I was second on a list. I became the first to pay in full for my D60 and ultrawide angle lens, so the general manager, who allowed his new assistant manager to decide, put me first in line to receive it! Thanks John & Jay @ Unruh's!

I found a 70-210MM 4.0 zoom lens for a fair price on Ebay and won the auction by placing my reserve 1 minute before the auction ended! I just swooped out of no where on Fri, 08 Mar 2002 20:13:35 PST. I received the lens today in the mail.

Canon released the price this week for the EOS D60 kit: $2200! Canon seems to be positioning their high-end digital EOS line to directly compete with Nikon and Olympus. Well I'm happy with the price the set!!
I went downtown this morning to Unruh's and placed a $1000 deposit for a D60 kit, Battery Grip BG-ED3 and the new 16-35MM 2.8L USM lens. The wait is on.
I'm the 2nd person to place a deposit at Unruh's for the new D60. It looks like April 26 is the shipping date according to Canon's web site.
